BBC Visits Conway Primary School

We are pleased to share that our very own Conway Primary School, and the Trust as a whole, featured on BBC Breakfast on Thursday 2nd March.

The BBC were using World Book Day to relaunch the 500 Words project – which many of you will remember was a nationwide writing project where children write a 500-word story and submit it to the Chris Evans’ show to win prizes.

It was a fantastic morning, for both Conway Primary School and the Trust, with Rebecca Eaton and Mark Unwin interviewed by Jon Kay about World Book Day and the 500 words project at Conway and across the Trust.

It was lovely to receive such glowing feedback from the producer and presenters themselves, saying:

Exciting things were also happening behind the scenes on Thursday, with Rebecca being interviewed on BBC 5 Live and with Charlie Higson & Benjamin Zephaniah visiting year 6 pupils.
