We are proud here at Create to care about our planet, the environment. We have partnered with the inspirational Kidz Against Plastic to put the environment at the core of our curriculum. Kids Against Plastic aims to help young people to learn about environmental issues such as plastic pollution and the Climate Crisis.

Through free resources, initiatives and the awesome KAP Club, we try to inspire and empower others into action. 

BECOME A CLIMATE CLEVER SCHOOL IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS:

INSPIRE

Learn about the Climate Crisis, the history of Climate Change and the need to become Climate Clever.

Kidz Against Plastic visited Brookfields, Conway & Greet Primary Schools as part of the collaboration with the trust, to deliver a motivational presentation, about reducing the use of plastic and its impact on the environment.

KAP are working with our amazing pupils and staff on a purposeful educational letter-writing campaign. 

Every day, a letter written by a Create Trust Academy pupil will be photocopied and posted to the BIG FOUR supermarket CEOs. The aim is to meet with one of the supermarket CEOs to discuss the KAPtat campaign and how their supermarket can lead the way to make a change that will help cut 0.5 billion pieces of plastic ‘tat’ per year.

Amy gave a shout-out to Create Partnership Trust during her Keynote at the World Retail Congress in Barcelona at the end of April 2023. KAP & Create are excited about how Create Trust Schools and Kidz Against Plastic work together.
