Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Kiran Vithal joined us in January 2023 as Deputy CEO (DCEO) from the Department for Education. At the DfE he held a number of roles, ranging from School Improvement Delivery to more recently Education ICT Advisor. Before moving to the Department, he worked for a national, system leading high performing multi-academy trust, Ark Schools. Based in a Birmingham academy, he held several senior leadership roles. Under his leadership, progress was consistently in the top decile resulting in the school ranking #20 in the country. He is passionate about addressing educational disadvantage, and delivering on exceptional outcomes for the young people he serves. He became a teacher by studying Computer Science & Software Engineering at the University of Birmingham and has a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Warwick.

Kiran is a Trustee for Sidney Stringer MAT in Coventry and Finance Link Governor for Ark Schools.

Human Resources Manager

Collette is the Human Resources (People) Manager for the Trust, having joined us in 2018 with over 15 years’ experience across the education sector including schools, further and higher Education. Collette IS CIPD qualified and an Associate member of the CIPD.

As a member of the Create Executive Team, Collette oversees all aspects of Human Resources, supports senior leaders, trustees, and works directly with the schools and trade unions.

Strategic Operations Manager and European Project Manager

Janine joined the Trust in 2017, bringing wide experience of project management and Operational Management. She is part of the Create Central Team with a particular current emphasis on working with the contractors for estates management. Her wider roles include compliance, governance and European Projects for Erasmus. She is also Company Secretary for the Trust.

Assistant Management Accountant

Lu joined the Trust in 2019 with experience in a large MAT and skills gained from other different sectors. As a part-qualified ACCA Management Accountant, she provides up to date financial information to support our Headteachers for decision making. Lu works closely with schools where financial advice is needed.

PA to Headteachers

Emily provides personal, tailored support to the Headteachers across the Trust. She has wide administration experience including 10 years with Birmingham LA prior to joining Create in 2017.

Finance Administrator

Farzana joined Create in 2019 as the finance administrator, providing financial support to the schools. Farzana has over 14 years of experience within larger Academies (Secondary Schools).

Trust Administrator

Laura joined Create in January 2024. She has 12 years of Early years experience in schools as a Nursery Officer and Learning Support Practitioner. More recently she has 4 years of administration experience in both Primary and Secondary schools.
