Milly’s Bubble opened at Greet Primary School

Greet Primary School have unveiled their new safe space, Milly’s Bubble this week.

The space is named after beloved teacher Milly who sadly passed away at the beginning of December 2022. Milly worked at Greet for over 15 years and the majority of that time as a learning mentor. She was dedicated to supporting Greets’ most vulnerable children and families, so Greet has chosen to dedicate their new community & mentoring space in honour of Milly.

The space for the children will be dedicated safe spaces, for children to come for mentoring sessions and emotional regulation.

The community room is going to be used for parent workshops and a dedicated warm space, with a café and curry afternoon.

“It’s been a huge success already, parents have fed back how lovely it was to meet up with other parents and are grateful for what the school is providing.” - Chloe Williams, Deputy Headteacher.

The official opening of Milly’s Bubble will be held later in the term.
