Chris Dyson - Gratitude for Staff

HT's, SLT, Y6 Teachers, and TA's, I wanted to express my sincerest gratitude for the wonderful way in which you administered the Key Stage 2 SATs. Your professionalism, dedication, and organisation were truly impressive, and I found that all four schools were managing the SATs to the letter.

The level of detail and correct procedure was evident in all four settings. For example, during my monitoring visit to Greet Primary, I was particularly impressed with the way the school had handled a situation where a child needed to attend a hospital appointment prior to sitting the Spelling Test. The school had taken all the necessary steps to ensure the integrity of the test, while also prioritizing the wellbeing of the child. This is a clear demonstration of the school's commitment to both their pupils and the fairness of the testing process.

Overall, I was impressed with all the schools' management of the KS2 SATs and their dedication to ensuring a positive and inclusive testing experience for all their students. The checks I carried out confirmed that the schools were following the correct procedures for the tests, and all necessary precautions were being taken to ensure that the results were reliable and valid.

I am confident that the SATs results will accurately reflect the pupils' abilities and progress, and this is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Thank you for all that you do for your students, and for making the testing process a positive and successful experience.
