Create Partnership Trust was established in Birmingham in September 2016. This is the next stage of the journey to excellence for its founding schools, Greet Primary and Conway Primary, which have been federated since 2009. A third school, Hodge Hill Primary, joined the Trust in January 2017 as the first sponsored school. The uniqueness of each school is respected and celebrated by the Trust but we also seek ways of working together in terms of both sharing best practice and problem-solving.
The fourth member of the MAT is Greet Teaching School which brings further school improvement resources.
Our MAT governance structure is centred on the Board of Directors (known as Trustees) and their two Trust-wide Committees.
Each school is establishing a Local Governing Body (LGB) and these are effectively Committees of the MAT, focused on an individual school.
Our MAT leadership structure focuses on the leadership of each school by its Headteacher (HT), together with the Teaching School which is linked directly to Greet Primary, through which it achieved its designation.
Overall responsibility for the performance of the schools and the Teaching School is with the Executive Headteacher (EHT), who reports to the Trustees. Each school has its appointed HT who reports to the EHT and to the school’s LGB.
Greet Teaching School will report to Greet LGB.
Overall responsibility for each school’s performance is with the HT.
