Create Partnership Trust’s CEO Pat Smart to receive a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list
We are really pleased that our Chief Executive, Pat Smart has been awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours this year. Pat was awarded the accolade for her contribution to education. Her continuous dedication and commitment over two decades has raised education and improved pupil’s achievement, not just at Greet Primary School but nationally.
Stella Blackmore, Chair of Create Partnership Trust said,” This is of course a well-deserved personal accolade in recognition of her work, and we understand how fortunate we are to work with her. At Create, we have identified our Trust values as Excellence, Partnership and Perseverance. Pat’s leadership exemplifies all three!”
Create Partnership Trust was formed in 2016 by Greet Primary School and Conway Primary School, with Hodge Hill Primary School joining the Create family of schools in 2017. Pat was inspired to form the Trust to achieving even better outcomes for the children in our communities. We share good practice and pool resources in order to achieve the best.
Pat said” I didn’t expect to receive this award, but it’s lovely to be recognised. I love working in Create Partnership Trust and with other schools in Birmingham. I have been lucky over the years to work with so many great colleagues”
